Permanent fillers are useful for certain areas on the face. In areas that are prone to undergo quicker changes, they can be disadvantageous to temporary fillers. Fillers are placed by our physicians. A cosmetic consultation with me should answer all of your questions and will allow me to determine the amount of filler needed to achieve your specific goals.
I previously had Artefill injected into my smiles lines in February 2008 by Brinton Lake Dermology. The results were amazing and the lines have not returned. Will you inject Artefill in the cheek and chin area ? What is the cost?
I would be glad to post a photo of my face.
Artefill is a very effective filler and my patients love the results, too.
However, our office stopped Artefill injections. The decision not to offer it at this time is purely based on “political” issues. There is nothing wrong with the product.
I am 54 year old have dark circle under eyes and jowl line hang slightly, what would you recommend, and what is a estimate price would regular medical insurance cover this procedure. I’m African American
Thanks
If dark circles are due to grooves that has formed under the eyes, the area may be corrected with fillers placed under the skin. Jowls can sometimes be improved by filler placement as well. The procedure may require at least 2 syringes of filler but the number may range from 2-5 depending on the amount of correction needed. If correction by filler is not feasible, surgical procedures may be considered. Insurance does not cover cosmetic improvements and a quote can be given after evaluation as everyone has different volume requirements. Please also be aware that improvement by filler requires periodic upkeep as fillers wear off after several months.
