KTP Laser

Overview:

This double pulsed Nd:YAG laser treats facial blood vessels and spider veins.

Expected results:

Reduction of unwanted blood vessels.

Preparation:

Sunscreen for several weeks. Avoidance of alcohol prevents the dilation of blood vessels especially with rosacea.

Post treatment instructions:

Sun protection for 6 weeks after each treatment. Avoidance of alcohol for 2 weeks after each procedure.

Time to desired results:

1-4 treatments 4-6 weeks apart may be necessary to eradicate unwanted blood vessels.

Contraindications:

Recent tan. Skin types that never burn.

Duration of desired effects:

5-7 years. After this time, our body will form new vessels, especially in genetically determined spider veins.

Downtime:

Redness, swelling and bruising for several days, bruising for up to 3 months with leg vein treatment. Scarring is rare but may occur.

I liked the relaxing atmosphere, and the service. All the women were wonderful, and the doctor- especially- was friendly, and very helpful. I did not feel at all uncomfortable or nervous, as I normally do at a doctors visit. The assistant was wonderful, and they worked great as a team. The visit was painless, quick, and very easy. Thank you! I'll certainly be back and recommend this office to my friends and family as well. :)

sometimes I feel the phone staff is not as helpful as it could be, but that is not reflected in the quality of services. Front office is very professional overall.
